I’ve been dropping the ball recently on juggling everything I want to do, so being the very type-A person I am, I’m making a list and making myself accountable to the internet for it. Hey, it worked to pay of $33k of debt in three years, so why not?

This month I’m hoping to accomplish the following:

  • Write and post 4 new website articles
  • Publish 6 new YouTube videos
  • Have a great cruise with my best friend Jaimie!
  • Take all the cute vacation clips (You’ve been warned, instagram)
  • Update 3 of my website pages
  • Save/ Invest 40% of my income!

How’d I do?

Uh oh – what happened?

Basically I couldn’t “recover” from vacation and the following trip to Mississippi for a 4-day weekend to help out my family. I was prepared for stuff to happen while I was away, but didn’t have stuff pre-filmed/ written to go out AFTER. Mistake learned.

Also, despite my type-a personality trying to tell me I could have done better, it’s not the end of the world.

I didn’t accomplish half of what I set out to do this past month, but I did some good things that moved me forward. 3 videos, two blog posts, a great vacation and a hella lot of savings (41%!) is nothing to feel bad about.

I did what I could. Baby steps still move us forward. Be gentle with yourself- often I imagine I’m talking to myself like a friend would. A friend is encouraging, supportive, understanding. Often my inner critic is harsh, unyielding, mean and cold. Be a friend to yourself. Onward and upward this month! ??‍♀️??‍♀️??? .

Let’s do this. What are your goals for the June?

I’m rooting for you!

-Sarah
